The way the line wrapping was done turns out to be quite undesirable, because it often leaves multiple parameters on the same line. If we later need to add or remove individual parameters, then it leaves us having to redo line wrapping. This commit changes the line wrapping so that every single "-param value" is one its own new line. If the "value" is still too long, then we break on ',' or ':' or ' ' as needed. This means that when we come to add / remove parameters from the test files line, the patch diffs will only ever show a single line added/removed which will greatly simplify review work. qemu: command: Override HOME variable for system QEMU By default, qemu user's home dir points to '/' which shouldn't be used at all. We therefore pass the HOME variable from the current variable iff not running as SUID, which means that for systemd we never set it. qemu_command: Separate domain memory building into a helper The qemuBuildMachineCommandLine() function is needlessly long. Separate out parts that generate memory related arguments into qemuAppendDomainMemoryMachineParams(). Unfortunately, expected outputs for some qemuxml2argvdata cases needed to be updated because the order in which arguments are generated is changed. But there's no functional change. qemu: Switch to -accel We currently use -machine accel=XXX which is just a syntax sugar for -accel XXX. The former doesn't allow specifying arguments for accelerator, because all arguments passed to -machine are treated as arguments of machine itself. The -accel argument was introduced in QEMU commit v2.9.0-rc0~70^2~19 and since our minimum required version is newer (2.11.0) we can safely assume its existence and use it without any capability. qemu: Enforce ACPI, UEFI requirements Depending on the architecture, requirements for ACPI and UEFI can be different; more specifically, while on x86 UEFI requires ACPI, on aarch64 it's the other way around. Enforce these requirements when validating the domain, and make the error message more accurate by mentioning that they're not necessarily applicable to all architectures. Several aarch64 test cases had to be tweaked because they would have failed the validation step otherwise.

This is not the case - it can be used to connect a device just like any other slot, so remove the restriction and update the test cases that auto-assign an address on a dmi-to-pci-bridge.

qemu: Permit PCI-free aarch64 mach-virt guests There has been some progress lately in enabling virtio-pci on aarch64 guests; however, guest OS support is still spotty at best, so most guests are going to be using virtio-mmio instead. Currently, mach-virt guests are closely modeled after q35 guests, and that includes always adding a dmi-to-pci-bridge that's just impossible to get rid of. While that's acceptable (if suboptimal) for q35, where you will always need some kind of PCI device anyway, mach-virt guests should be allowed to avoid it.

qemuxml2argvtest: Use internal wrapping of command line arguments virCommandToString has the possibility to return an already wrapped string with better format than what we get from the test wrapper script. The main advantage is that arguments for an option are always on the same line which makes it more easy to see what changed in a diff and prevents re-wrapping of the line if a wrapping point moves over the threshold. Additionally the used output is the same we have in the VM log file when a VM is starting.
