Historically, we declared pointer type to our types:
typedef struct _virXXX virXXX;
typedef virXXX *virXXXPtr;
But usefulness of such declaration is questionable, at best.
Unfortunately, we can't drop every such declaration - we have to
carry some over, because they are part of public API (e.g.
virDomainPtr). But for internal types - we can do drop them and
use what every other C project uses 'virXXX *'.
This change was generated by a very ugly shell script that
generated sed script which was then called over each file in the

virCommandToStringFull used internally when virCommandSetDryRun is
requested allows to strip command path and wrap lines nicely. Expose
these via virCommandSetDryRun so that tests can use those features
instead of local hacks.

While virCommandSetDryRun is used in tests only, there were some cases
when error paths would not call the function with NULL arguments to
reset the dry run infrastructure.
Introduce virCommandDryRunToken type which must be allocated via
virCommandDryRunTokenNew and passed to virCommandSetDryRun.
This way we can use automatic variable cleaning to trigger the cleanup
of virCommandSetDryRun parameters and also the use of the token variable
ensures that all callers of virCommandSetDryRun clean up after
themselves and also that the token isn't left unused in the code.

What we are using really is heap allocated structure rather than
stack allocated. And for that it's better to use g_autoptr() +
G_DEFINE_AUTOPTR_CLEANUP_FUNC() combo, as Glib documentation for
g_auto() reads:
This is meant to be used with stack-allocated structures and
non-pointer types. For the (more commonly used) pointer
version, see g_autoptr().
This will be even more visible, when virSysinfoDefPtr type is
gone. Stay tuned.

Setting OEM strings for a domain was introduced in
v4.1.0-rc1~315. However, any application that wanted to use them
(e.g. to point to an URL where a config file is stored) had to
'dmidecode -u --oem-string N' (where N is index of the string).
Well, we can expose them under our <sysinfo/> XML and if the
domain is running Libvirt inside it can be obtained using
virConnectGetSysinfo() API.

Problem with custom dmidecode scripts is that they are hard to
modify, especially if we will want them to act differently based
on passed arguments. So far, we have two scripts which do no more
than 'cat $sysinfo' where $sysinfo is saved dmidecode output.
The virCommandSetDryRun() can be used to trick
virSysinfoReadDMI() thinking it executed real dmidecode.

There's nothing x86 specific about this function. Rename the
function so that it has DMI suffix which enables it to be reused
on different arches (as using X86 from say ARM would look
suspicious).

going to add another one soon, so we need to make sure its
name contains the test case name as a prefix, just like we

Require that all headers are guarded by a symbol named
LIBVIRT_$FILENAME
where $FILENAME is the uppercased filename, with all characters
outside a-z changed into '_'.
Note we do not use a leading __ because that is technically a
namespace reserved for the toolchain.

In many files there are header comments that contain an Author:
statement, supposedly reflecting who originally wrote the code.
In a large collaborative project like libvirt, any non-trivial
file will have been modified by a large number of different
contributors. IOW, the Author: comments are quickly out of date,
omitting people who have made significant contribitions.
In some places Author: lines have been added despite the person
merely being responsible for creating the file by moving existing
code out of another file. IOW, the Author: lines give an incorrect
record of authorship.
With this all in mind, the comments are useless as a means to identify
who to talk to about code in a particular file. Contributors will always
be better off using 'git log' and 'git blame' if they need to find the
author of a particular bit of code.
This commit thus deletes all Author: comments from the source and adds
a rule to prevent them reappearing.
The Copyright headers are similarly misleading and inaccurate, however,
we cannot delete these as they have legal meaning, despite being largely
inaccurate. In addition only the copyright holder is permitted to change
their respective copyright statement.

All of the ones being removed are pulled in by internal.h. The only
exception is sanlock which expects the application to include <stdint.h>
before sanlock's headers, because sanlock prototypes use fixed width
int, but they don't include stdint.h themselves, so we have to leave
that one in place.

Due to a kernel commit (b4b8f770e), cpuinfo format has changed on
ARMs. Firstly, 'Processor: ...' may not be reported, it's
replaced by 'model name: ...'. Secondly, the "Processor" string
may occur in CPU name, e.g. 'ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l)'.
Therefore, we must firstly look for 'model name' and then for
'Processor' if not found.
Moreover, lines in the cpuinfo file are shuffled, so we better
not manipulate the pointer to start of internal buffer as we may
lost some info.

Actually, I'm turning this function into a macro as filename,
function name and line number needs to be passed. The new
function virAsprintfInternal is introduced with the extended set
of arguments.
The source code base needs to be adapted as well. Some files
include virutil.h just for the string related functions (here,
the include is substituted to match the new file), some include
virutil.h without any need (here, the include is removed), and
some require both.
Implement the bare minimal sysinfo for ARM platforms by
reading the CPU models from /proc/cpuinfo

x86 (DMI based) and s390 (/proc/... based).
In lack of PPC data, I have stubbed out the test for it, but it
can be added with a minimal effort.
