The "modify" command allows to replace an existing record (its
text value). The primary key is the name of the record. If
duplicity or missing record detected, throw error.
Tests in networkxml2xmlupdatetest.c contain replacements of an
existing DNS-text record and failure due to non-existing record.

The "modify" command allows to replace an existing Srv record
(some of its elements respectively: port, priority and weight).
The primary key used to choose the modify record is the remaining
parameters, only one of them is required. Not using some of these
parameters may cause duplicate records and error message. This
logic is there because of the previous implementation (Add and
Delete options) in the function.
Tests in networkxml2xmlupdatetest.c contain replacements of an
existing DNS-Srv record and failure due to non-existing record.

The "modify" command allows you to replace an existing record
(its hostname, sub-elements). IP address acts as the primary key.
If it is not found, the attempt ends with an error message. If
the XML contains a duplicate address, it will select the last
one.

This patch adds a new attribute "register" to the <domain> element. If
set to "yes", the DNS server created for the virtual network is
registered with systemd-resolved as a name server for the associated
domain. The names known to the dnsmasq process serving DNS and DHCP
requests for the virtual network will then be resolvable from the host
by appending the domain name to them.

'virXPathNodeSet' returns -1 only when 'ctxt' or 'xpath' are NULL or
when the 'xpath' string is invalid. Both are programming errors. It
doesn't make sense for the code to overwrite the error message for
anything supposedly more relevant.
The majority of calls to 'virXPathNodeSet' already didn't do this, so
this patch fixes the rest to prevent it from spreading again.

This patch makes it possible to manually specify which VFIO variant
driver to use for PCI hostdev device assignment, so that, e.g. you
could force use of a VFIO "variant" driver, with e.g.
<driver model='mlx5_vfio_pci'/>
or alternately to force use of the generic vfio-pci driver with
<driver model='vfio-pci'/>
when libvirt would have normally (after applying a subsequent patch)
found a "better match" for a device in the active kernel's
modules.alias file. (The main potential use of this manual override
would probably be to work around a bug in a new VFIO variant driver by
temporarily not using that driver).

The next step in consolidating parsing/formatting of the <driver>
element of these objects using a common struct and common code. This
eliminates the virNetworkForwardDriverNameType enum which is nearly
identical to virDeviceHostdevPCIDriverName (the only non-identical bit
was just because they'd gotten out of sync over time) and replaces its
uses with a virDeviceHostdevPCIDriverInfo (which is a struct that
contains a virDeviceHostdevPCIDriverName).

The hostdev version of the <driver> subelement appears in four places:
* The domain XML in the <hostdev> and <interface type='hostdev'>
elements (that's 2)
* The network XML inside <forward> when the network is a pool of
SRIOV VFs
* the <networkport> XML, which is used to communicate between the
hypervisor driver and network driver.
In order to make the pending addition of a new attribute to <driver>
in all these cases simpler, this patch refactors the parsing of
<driver> in all four places to use virXMLProp*() and
virXMLFormatElement().
Making all of the different instances of the separate parse/format for
<driver> look nearly identical will make it easier to see that the
upcoming patch that converges all four to use a common
parser/formatter is a functional NOP.

This patch adds new elements <title> and <description> to the Network XML.
- The <title> attribute holds a short title defined by the user and
cannot contain newlines.
- The <description> attribute holds any documentation that the user
wants to store.
- Schema definitions of <title> and <description> have been moved from
domaincommon.rng to basictypes.rng for use by network and future objects.
- Added Network XML parser logic for the above.

There's nothing to clean up in the 'host' local variable on error as
the function which fills it makes sure to fill it only on success. In
such case it's also directly assigned to the array thus the 'host'
variable is cleared.
Remove the 'cleanup' label and 'ret' variable as we can now directly
return -1 on error.

The generic helper also has helper code to validate the root element and
create an XPath context. Many places in the code duplicate code for
doing these operations.
Extend the helper to provide all arguments and fix all callers.
In many cases this patch refactors the passing of the 'validate'
field into a separate variable to avoid quirky looking arguments.

There are couple of places where virTristateBoolTypeFromString()
is called. Well, the same result can be achieved by
virXMLPropTristateBool() and on fewer lines.
Note there are couple of places left untouched because those
don't care about error reporting and thus are shorter they way
they are now.

Having multiple addresses having same hostname is a common config either
to have IPv4 and IPv6 address for the same hostname or even for DNS
round robin. The validation in the network update code didn't allow
adding such entries despite the fact that it is possible to define a
network with them.
Don't check hostname duplicity when adding a DNS entry.
The update of the test case adds another entry for the 'pudding'
hostname which is added in one of the networkxml2xmlupdate test cases.

The new enum helpers use a set of flags to modify their behaviour, but
the declared set of flags is semantically confusing:

Since VIR_XML_PROP_OPTIONAL is declared as 0 any other flag shadows it
and makes it impossible to detect. The functions are not able to detect
a semantic nonsense of VIR_XML_PROP_OPTIONAL | VIR_XML_PROP_REQUIRED and
it's a perfectly valid statement for the compilers.
In general having two flags to do the same boolean don't make sense and
the implementation doesn't fix any shortcomings either.
To prevent mistakes, rename VIR_XML_PROP_OPTIONAL to VIR_XML_PROP_NONE,
so that there's always an enum value used with the calls but it doesn't
imply that the flag makes the property optional when the actual value is
0.

Historically, we declared pointer type to our types:

typedef virXXX *virXXXPtr;
But usefulness of such declaration is questionable, at best.
Unfortunately, we can't drop every such declaration - we have to
carry some over, because they are part of public API (e.g.
virDomainPtr). But for internal types - we can do drop them and
use what every other C project uses 'virXXX *'.
This change was generated by a very ugly shell script that
generated sed script which was then called over each file in the

'xmlBufferCreate' returns NULL only on allocation failure. Add a wrapper
which will call 'abort()' in such case in a centralised spot. It doesn't
make much sense to continue execution from here.

This patch takes on one set of examples of unnecessary use of
VIR_FREE() when g_free() is adequate - it modifies only vir*Free()
functions within the conf directory that take a single pointer and
free the object pointed to by that argument before returning. The
modification is to replace VIR_FREE() with g_free() for the object
itself *and* for all subordinate chunks of memory pointed to by that
object.
(NB: there are other functions that VIR_FREE subordinate memory of
objects that end up being freed before return (also sometimes with
VIR_FREE); I am purposefully ignoring those to reduce scope and focus
on a sub class where the pointlessness is obvious.)
