10a8997cbb conf: Don't default to raw format for loader/NVRAM
Due to the way the information is stored by the XML parser, we've
had this quirk where specifying any information about the loader
or NVRAM would implicitly set its format to raw. That is,

  <nvram>/path/to/guest_VARS.fd</nvram>

would effectively be interpreted as

  <nvram format='raw'>/path/to/guest_VARS.fd</nvram>

forcing the use of raw format firmware even when qcow2 format
would normally be preferred based on the ordering of firmware
descriptors. This behavior can be worked around in a number of
ways, but it's fairly unintuitive.

In order to remove this quirk, move the selection of the default
firmware format from the parser down to the individual drivers.

Most drivers only support raw firmware images, so they can
unconditionally set the format early and be done with it; the
QEMU driver, however, supports multiple formats and so in that
case we want this default to be applied as late as possible,
when we have already ruled out the possibility of using qcow2
formatted firmware images.

ce2358d07a libxl: Fix build with recent Xen that introduces new disk backend type
Xen toolstack has gained basic Virtio support recently which becides
adding various virtio related stuff introduces new disk backend type
LIBXL_DISK_BACKEND_STANDALONE [1].

Unfortunately, this caused a regression in libvirt build with Xen support
enabled, reported by the osstest today [2]:

CC       libxl/libvirt_driver_libxl_impl_la-xen_xl.lo
../../src/libxl/xen_xl.c: In function 'xenParseXLDisk':
../../src/libxl/xen_xl.c:779:17: error: enumeration value 'LIBXL_DISK_BACKEND_STANDALONE'
   not handled in switch [-Werror=switch-enum]
                 switch (libxldisk->backend) {
                 ^~~~~~
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors

The interesting fact is that switch already has a default branch (which ought
to cover such new addition), but the error is triggered as -Wswitch-enum
gives a warning about an omitted enumeration code even if there is a default
label.

Also there is a similar issue in libxlUpdateDiskDef() which I have reproduced
after fixing the first one, but it that case the corresponding switch doesn't
have a default branch.

Fix both issues by inserting required enumeration item to make the compiler
happy and adding ifdef guard to be able to build against old Xen libraries
as well (without LIBXL_HAVE_DEVICE_DISK_SPECIFICATION). Also add a default
branch to switch in libxlUpdateDiskDef().

Please note, that current patch doesn't implement the proper handling of
LIBXL_DISK_BACKEND_STANDALONE and friends, it is just intended to fix
the regression immediately to unblock the osstest. Also it worth mentioning
that current patch won't solve the possible additions in the future.

d9916c3519 conf: Separate domain post parse code into domain_postparse.c
The domain post parse functions currently live in domain_conf.c
which thus grows always larger. Mimic what we've done for the
validation code and move the post parse code into a separate
file: domain_postparse.c.

I've started by moving every function with PostParse in its name
into the new file and then compile hunting for helper functions
only to move them as well.

In the end, I've moved virDomainDefPostParse symbol in
libvirt_private.syms into a new section. And while
virDomainDeviceDefPostParseOne() is made 'public' in
domain_postparse.h too, I'm not exporting it because it has no
caller outside src/conf/ and it's unlikely it ever will.

5a1bdcfbf0 libxl: Don't use a static buffer in xenParseXLVnuma()
The xenParseXLVnuma() function is responsible for parsing 'vnuma'
part of XL config and setting corresponding values in
virDomainDef. While doing so it uses a static buffer which is set
to data we are interested in and then parsing the buffer further
(e.g. string to integer conversion, bitmap parsing, and so on).
Well, the data we are interested in are already in a string

buffer needless.

17c324bd25 virconf: Make virConfSetValue() clear consumed pointer
The way that virConfSetValue() works (and the way it is even
documented) is that the @value pointer is always consumed.
However, since the first order pointer is passed it leaves
callers in a pickle situation - they always have to set pointer
to NULL after calling virConfSetValue() to avoid touching it.

Let's switch @value to a double pointer and clear it inside the
function.

94ce37c8e2 src: Declare and use g_autoptr(virConfValue)
This commit declares g_autoptr() function for virConfValue type.
At the same time, it switches variable declarations to use it.
Also, in a few places we might have freed a variable twice, for
instance in xenFormatXLDomainNamespaceData(). This is because
virConfSetValue() consumes passed pointer (@value) even in case
of failure and thus any code that uses virConfSetValue() must
refrain from touching @value and it must not call
virConfFreeValue().

This semantic is not obvious and will be addressed in one of
future commits.

5c254bb541 conf: Store SCSI bus length in virDomainDef
Libvirt assumes that a SCSI bus can fit up to 8 devices
(including controller itself), except for so called wide bus
which can accommodate up to 16 devices (again, including
controller). This plays important role when computing 'drive'
address in virDomainDiskDefAssignAddress(). So far, the only
driver that enables wide SCSI bus is VMX. But with newer
releases, ESX is capable of "super wide" bus (64 devices).

We can blindly bump the limit in our code because then we would
compute address that's invalid for older ESX versions that we
still want to support.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a better place where to store this
than virDomainDef.

c8238579fb lib: Drop internal virXXXPtr typedefs
Historically, we declared pointer type to our types:

  typedef struct _virXXX virXXX;
  typedef virXXX *virXXXPtr;

But usefulness of such declaration is questionable, at best.
Unfortunately, we can't drop every such declaration - we have to
carry some over, because they are part of public API (e.g.
virDomainPtr). But for internal types - we can do drop them and
use what every other C project uses 'virXXX *'.

This change was generated by a very ugly shell script that
generated sed script which was then called over each file in the
repository. For the shell script refer to the cover letter:
