c90c97a734 Properly mark auto-added 'terminator' virStorageSource
All backing chain members which were auto-added by image detection,
including the terminating element, should have the 'detected' property
set to true. This is needed to properly strip the detected elements in
some cases, e.g. for the status XML where we could treat some images as
manually terminated even when it was auto-detected.

7ce63d5a07 qemu: Prepare storage backing chain traversal code for FD passed images
We assume that FD passed images already exist so all existance checks
are skipped.

For the case that a FD-passed image is passed without a terminated
backing chain (thus forcing us to detect) we attempt to read the header
from the FD.

215b2466cd virStorageSourceGetActualType: Change type of retval
The virStorageSourceGetActualType() function returns either
virStorageSource->type (which is of type virStorageType), or
virStorageSourcePoolDef->type, which really stores a value of the
same enum. Thus, the latter struct can be changed so that the
virStorageSourceGetActualType() function can return correct type
instead of generic int.

87a43a907f lib: Use g_clear_pointer() more
This change was generated using the following spatch:

  @ rule1 @
  expression a;
  identifier f;
  @@
    <...
  - f(*a);
    ... when != a;
  - *a = NULL;
  + g_clear_pointer(a, f);
    ...>

  @ rule2 @
  expression a;
  identifier f;
  @@
    <...
  - f(a);
    ... when != a;
  - a = NULL;
  + g_clear_pointer(&a, f);
    ...>

Then, I left some of the changes out, like tools/nss/ (which
doesn't link with glib) and put back a comment in
qemuBlockJobProcessEventCompletedActiveCommit() which coccinelle
decided to remove (I have no idea why).

c8238579fb lib: Drop internal virXXXPtr typedefs
Historically, we declared pointer type to our types:

  typedef struct _virXXX virXXX;
  typedef virXXX *virXXXPtr;

But usefulness of such declaration is questionable, at best.
Unfortunately, we can't drop every such declaration - we have to
carry some over, because they are part of public API (e.g.
virDomainPtr). But for internal types - we can do drop them and
use what every other C project uses 'virXXX *'.

This change was generated by a very ugly shell script that
generated sed script which was then called over each file in the
repository. For the shell script refer to the cover letter:

a43c8763bf virStorageSourceGetMetadata: Use depth limit instead of unique path checking
Prevent unbounded chains by limiting the recursion depth of
virStorageSourceGetMetadataRecurse to the maximum number of image layers
we limit anyways.

This removes the last use of virStorageSourceGetUniqueIdentifier which
will allow us to delete some crusty old infrastructure which isn't
really needed.

8fd72501c8 virStorageSourceChainLookup: Handle names like 'vda[4]' internally
All callers of this function called virStorageFileParseChainIndex
before. Internalize the logic of that function to prevent multiple calls
and passing around unnecessary temporary variables.

This is achieved by calling virStorageFileParseBackingStoreStr and using
it to fill the values internally.
