prefix as the installed libvirt, use the same localstatedir /var (instead of /usr/var) and sysconfdir /etc (instead of /usr/etc) to be able to connect to the system daemon, and use the system local options * src/xs_internal.c: avoid error message when non-root cannot open xenstore * src/xend_internal.c: avoid error message when non-root cannot directly access xend, in those 2 cases the proxy (or remote code) should implement the access so there is no need to raise the error there. LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interract with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
