This partly reverts df90ca7661b0a789bd790ccf8258a4527c13eb8d. Don't disable the VirtualBox driver when configure can't find VBoxXPCOMC.so, rely on detection at runtime again instead. Keep --with-vbox=/path/to/virtualbox intact, added to for: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609185 Detection order for VBoxXPCOMC.so: 1. VBOX_APP_HOME environment variable 2. configure provided location 3. hardcoded list of known locations 4. dynamic linker search path Also cleanup the glue code and improve error reporting.
LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
