util: make interface.c functions consistently return < 0 on error
All of the functions in util/interface.c were returning 0 on success, but some returned -1 on error, and some returned a positive value (usually the value of errno, but sometimes just 1). Libvirt's standard is to return < 0 on error (in the case of functions that need to return errno, -errno is returned. This patch modifies all functions in interface.c to consistently return < 0 on error, and makes changes to callers of those functions where necessary.
LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
