055379df23 API: migration: Warn about use of VIR_MIGRATE_PERSIST_DEST with VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_DEST_XML
When a VM is being migrated to a destination host it can be made
persistent on the destination by using VIR_MIGRATE_PERSIST_DEST. That
may not work as intended if VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_DEST_XML or the 'xmlin'
parameter is used as that allows overriding certain aspects of the VM
xml, but does not involve the persistent definition.
In most cases users will need to supply also VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_PERSIST_XML
with the same set of modification.

Modify the man page to clarify the above so that users don't end up with
broken VM after migrating and restarting it.

332ee4931a docs: Add warning about using a cleared image with VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_MIGRATE_DISKS_DETECT_ZEROES_ZEROES
The migration parameter causes zero detection to be enabled and zero
blocks are *not* transferred to the destination. This means that users
must provide pre-cleared images that read all zero, otherwise the
non-zero blocks on destination which reside in places where the source
has zero blocks would be kept intact corrupting the image.

As not transferring and overwriting the zero blocks is what the feature
is supposed to do the users need to provide the proper environment.

Document the requirement, both in API and in the virsh man page for the
'--migrate-disks-detect-zeroes' option.

621f879adf qemu: Introduce and wire in 'VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_MIGRATE_DISKS_DETECT_ZEROES'
The new 'VIR_MIGRATE_PARAM_MIGRATE_DISKS_DETECT_ZEROES' migration
parameter allows users of migration to pass in a list of disks where
zero-detection (which avoids transferring the zeroed-blocks) should be
enabled for the migration connection. This comes at the cost of extra
CPU cycles needed to check each block if it's all-zero.

This is useful for storage backends where information about the
allocation state of a block is not available and thus without this the
image would become fully allocated on the destination.

b25b071c75 libvirt: Introduce virDomainGraphicsReload API
The new virDomainGraphicsReload API is used to make the domain reload
its certificates without restart, and avoid service interruption.

Currently, only QEMU VNC TLS certificates are supported, but
flags are also reserved for subsequent scenarios.

To reload QEMU VNC TLS certificates as an example, we can call:

  virDomainGraphicsReload(domain, 0, 0);

Then the specified QMP message would be send to QEMU:
{"execute": "display-reload", "arguments":{"type": "vnc", "tls-certs": true}}

The configuration of a defined mdev can be modified after the mdev is

6f9d66c828 qemu: Store all iothread's 'poll*' attributes as unsigned long long
Convert the internal types to unsigned long long. Luckily we can also
covert the external types too:

 - 'qemuDomainSetIOThreadParams' can accept both _UINT and _ULLONG by
   converting to 'virTypedParamsGetUnsigned'

 - querying is handled via the bulk stats API which is flexible:
    - we use virTypedParamListAddUnsigned to use the bigger type only if
      necessary
    - most users don't even notice because the bindings abstract the
      data types

Apart from the code modifications we also improve the documentation

b1b037fa5b Introduce VIR_DOMAIN_PAUSED_API_ERROR
Some APIs (migration, save/restore, snapshot, ...) require a domain to
be suspended temporarily. In case resuming the domain fails, the domain
will be unexpectedly left paused when the API finishes. This situation
is reported via VIR_DOMAIN_EVENT_SUSPENDED event with
VIR_DOMAIN_EVENT_SUSPENDED_API_ERROR detail. But we do not have a
corresponding reason for VIR_DOMAIN_PAUSED state and the reason would
remain set to the value used when the domain was paused. So the state
reason would suggest the operation is still running.

This patch changes the state reason to a new VIR_DOMAIN_PAUSED_API_ERROR
to make it clear the API that paused the domain already finished, but
failed to resume the domain.

abd9025c2f lib: Introduce virDomainFDAssociate API
The API can be used to associate one or more (e.g. a RO and RW fd for a
disk backend image) FDs to a VM. They can be then used per definition.

The primary use case for now is for complex deployment where
libvirtd/virtqemud may be run inside a container and getting the image
into the container is complicated.

In the future it will also allow passing e.g. vhost FDs and other
resources to a VM without the need to have a filesystem representation
for it.

Passing raw FDs has few intricacies and thus libvirt will by default not
restore security labels.

0ba3870406 API: Remove internal impl detail from VIR_DOMAIN_IOTHREAD_THREAD_POOL_{MIN,MAX} description
When introducing VIR_DOMAIN_IOTHREAD_THREAD_POOL_MIN and
VIR_DOMAIN_IOTHREAD_THREAD_POOL_MAX typed parameters, I've made a
shortcut. Since at the monitor level these two are set in two
separate calls and minimum has to be always smaller than maximum
(or equal to it), it may happen that one of the values we want to
set violates this restriction. So I've put a little note in the
public API description warning users about this.

However, the proper solution is to have a logic that checks the
current values and based on that set either minimum or maximum
value first. But until we get there, remove that note from the
public API before it gets released.
